Patience ...

Pardon the delay, but the Sunday/Monday/Whenever Video will be up soon. Just enduring another day/week/month of a brutal work schedule and a lingering cold that is really blessing me with a lot of extra hours of sleep in order to conserve energy.

Some minor notes from the weekend:

- Dale & Cindy got married. Dale was one of the first genuine friends I made in the Koinonia group, so it's one huge part happiness seeing him find his soulmate and a small dose of sadness seeing him leave the herd of singles. I got to play deejay at the wedding ... small wedding, so it wasn't really all that involving. Despite some spotty logistics and planning. I was given a set of songs to download late Wednesday night for a Friday wedding and given a timeline for playing things about five minutes till. Loads of fun, but I don't recommend this for any other couple planning a wedding.

- Saturday 5pm ... I'm told to go live with a big website project at work between then and Monday AM. Decision to go to the office after church or head home for more sleep is decided on the latter. Caffeine and pasta are consumed to regain some energy.

- Sunday 2am ... I look over the details and realize there's no way we can go live. Realize I could have been resting peacefully in my bed, instead. Grrrr.

- Sunday 8am-noonish ... watch Lakewood services online and feel exhausted throughout. Nevermind that I'm doing nothing that should make me feel so exhausted. Nap follows. Sleep schedule gets put in blender.

- Sunday evening ... Upon waking up, realize that the DVD I got from the Redbox machine a few days ago is bad and miss out on a movie, plus pay $3 for the pleasure.

As soon as I recover from this and regain my bearings for the day, I'll get to cutting some video. Missi Hale was great all weekend.

ADD-ON: Oh, and I neglected to work into the timeline that somewhere in the mix of all this, my work PC got a nice little virus. Really aggravated me since this almost never happens and I lack the patience to diagnose/repair even my own PC.

You guys are awesome.

Great link, Rachel ... I'll have to wait, though, since I avoid iTunes & Apple products. Been playing the heck out of "Just Wanna Say," though. Catchy stuff.

HEY GREG
Im on the worship team and we have a HUGE request
we were wondering if you could post that acapella thing we did last night at church with Melody Duarte singing Shout to the Lord. We love that and her and that was her 1st time stepping out to sing a lead, so we were wondering if you could post it for us.

BLESSINGS

I saw that and had the combined pleasure of worshiping to some great vocals and kicking myself black and blue, knowing the office PC wasn't recording it. That computer is down for the count, so recording is also down for the count temporarily. She was awesome, though.
