Apologies for the rush, but I did want to at least drop in some nice video snippets from the weekend. Both of these happen to be from Saturday night's service. Catching up on some reading in the midst of a writing project now, so I'll try and add some snappy commentary and demands for a recording contract for Aimee Beard at some point in the PM.
Aimee Beard: "It Is Well With My Soul/Mighty to Save"
There was actually a nice reprise of this after the prayers. Again, with Aimee still on lead.
Clayton Ring: "God of This City"
Flat out, moving performance of this song. Just as much about the time and place as anything else. Lots of hands went up when asked who was still without power. I'm sure there were a lot of people there just pushing through what might very well be a trying time. I came out pretty darned lucky, but listening to this still gives me goosebumps in light of the impact you could see it had in the sanctuary. I'm guessing Sunday was no different.
I probably need to clip something from Steve/Da'Dra. I may pick something from a Sunday service for that.
As much as I'm still looking forward to Cindy's Return (no sign of her there that I saw), the "Anointed" ones deserve a lot of kudos for the job they've done carrying things up front in Cindy's hiatus. There's a lot of aspects of Steve's vocals that I'm more in awe of now than before. And Da'Dra's always an angel to listen to.

Yay thanks for uploading, Aimee beard is such a good singer, she should be one of the lead singers.... not in backup
Wow! What great clips! This weekend's services were amazing. I WAS disappointed that Cindy was not there, however Steve and Da'Dra really did a great job this weekend as well as Aimee and Michael Mellett and Clayton and the others.
