Tuesday(!) Video: Da'Dra Greathouse "Nothing Can Separate Me"

Man, am I behind schedule or what? Been a bit under the weather since Saturday and just now forcing myself to get back on track despite still being a bit sick. No excuse to wait another day to revisit Da'Dra's special from this weekend. Google wasn't terribly kind to me with a lyrics search, so I'm wondering if this is a number written inhouse? Whoever knows best, feel free to help the rest of us out. As always, Da'Dra never disappoints ...

UPDATE: Rachel to the rescue ... it's a Martha Munizzi tune (produced by Israel Houghton ~ hence the Lakewood vibe in the lyrics, perhaps?). Stunningly, I at least got the title of the song correct. Here's the pocket version of the tune in case anyone wants to have that to carry around.

I think I got a new favorite song. I missed this service because the live video feeds never loads on my windows xp partition, and I got the smart idea to steer away from my mac for a day. Well I'll never make that mistake again. Anyway, I can see this song as something Israel and Dadra wrote in a coffee shop or during practice. Speaking of new songs, is there any word on a new CD recording? I actually sat through the whole recording service for the last CD, not even realizing it was a CD recording. Another mistake I don't want to make again.

That's from Martha Munizzi's new cd Change the World. Israel is a producer on the cd. I would imagine he co-wrote songs on this cd as well cause he's just awesome like that. ;) Nothing Can Separate Me should show up in the regular worship rotation soon. Rehearsal was cancelled for this evening so I don't know for sure but don't be surprised if we sing it this coming weekend.

Reggie,
No news on another live recording anytime soon and I haven't heard anything for a while about the choir compliation of "specials." The choir will be on the new Michael W. Smith cd A New Hallelujah (http://www.michaelwsmith.com/product/2824.htm?parentid=706456) as well as four tracks on compassionart (http://www.compassionart.co.uk/).

Very informative. I love Martha, but I must admit that the last CD of hers that I really enjoyed was the one she recorded at Lakewood way back when and was produced by Israel. So knowing he produced this one (and wrote/co-wrote some songs) gets me excited about it.
