Sunday Video: J-Life "Who Am I"

I had the rather unique experience of sitting through the Saturday run-through of this. Basically, I got to see about 3-4 complete practice runs of this. By now, I think I can perform it. It's a very different experience seeing this in person and on video ... and I'm not entirely sure that the video version isn't better. It just eliminates so much of the other distractions and forces one angle of viewing this.

I was hoping you would post this! I was watching this entire performance with my mouth open. It was awesome. The kids did a wonderful job. Kudos to Pastor Craig and his staff.

Does anyone know the title of the song they performed to?

That song is Who Am I by Casting Crowns. It's on their self titled cd. :)

I had the honor of seeing this performance in Kidslife and prayed that the children would get the opportunity to perform in the main sanctuary. God is so good. My prayer, as well as many others who prayed, had been answered and the congregation received this message with a standing ovation. Thank you, Lord. It is so refreshing to see young children with such courage and perseverance honoring the Lord.

Both my children were in this performance. I've seen the rehearsals and the public performances. Each time the team has performed it (7 official plus dress rehearsals) I cried. I even cried again when I watched it on this site. So many people were blessed by this performance. I was one of those people praying that it would move beyond KidsLife and into the main sanctuary to reach the broader congregation. Many walked out of service with changed lives because of the "Who Am I" blacklight.

Furthermore, God has exceeded our prayers. Not only did He move the performance into the congregation, but also it will reach the world because it will be included in the one hour Lakewood television broadcast. And its power still resonates in KidsLife because it is being shown on the KidsLife monitors that are near the registration counters.

To God be the glory for the things He is doing in and through His precious children.
