Well, it looks like the computer issues from last night carried over to my work PC over the weekend. That, and I decided to alter my weekend schedule in a way that meant I might not capture all three services. Instead, I got one - Sunday 8:30. Adding insult to injury, there's some hiccups in the video of the special from the weekend. So in my effort to plod through it all, I give the video a couple of tries on the surgery table. No luck there. So this week, close your eyes and pretend you're there.
The audio here has a hiccup or two as well, but it's less annoying (and headache-inducing) than the video. Enjoy it and know that both Michael and Fiona looked fantastic.
One sidenote to mention from the night. Here's a screencap of the special:

Notice anything new? Like the lyrics underneath, maybe? It took all of one week from me whining about the lack of lyrics for the special to actually getting them placed on the big screen. That's got to be a record. It's also frightening to think that people actually read this blog. Thanks to all responsible, though. Since these are typically songs we don't know from repetition, my hunch is that this might get people more into the song (and hence, more into worship).

So Great will become "a regular" in the rotation. I think it is on the list for next weekend. :)
Being Saturday Night regulars, we were blessed to see Michael and Fiona perform this song in person. I usually try to record audio from the 11 am service from the lakewood.cc live feed, but evidently lost the signal early on and my recording program dutifully recorded silence for 2 hours while I did home projects. Hopefully, Lakewood will include this song in their hour-long broadcast in a couple of weeks.
Bob,
I feel your pain. My entire weekend schedule has essentially evolved to a point where it now revolves around ensuring that I get video captured from service in some form or another. The one week I hit pause on that, and this is what I get.
Rachel,
That is "So Great" to hear! Thanks as always for the update.
I live in the Rio Grande Valley and have found many people such as myself who live several hours away but have adopted Lakewood as our home. I try to attend about every other weekend and watch when I can live over the net, but when I do miss out, your postings are a welcome blessing to me, especially with the specials because they are as you know something we cannot get from the Lakewood website or TV. Thank you for your work in doing this and know that it is very much appreciated, especially for those of who are many miles away.
Bob,
You're a true road warrior if you're making it up to Houston every other weekend. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I always figure there's someone out there that'll enjoy the video clips, even if I've got no idea who or where they are.
