Well, I was definitely too beat to make it out for Dallas Willard on Sunday. Somehow my Friday and Saturday morphed into one big Friturday. Had to make a judgment call as to either head to church straight from a hectic day on the job or head home and work in a whopping hourlong nap. I chose the later, only to have a two-hour nap instead. So while I normally prefer to arrive at church no later than 5pm, I'm now running in at 7ish and spending my third week in a row up in the AV booth instead of watching service. Note to self: I really need to break this habit next week.
And since I was feeling a little remorse for knowing I was too out of it to enjoy Dallas Willard for an hour or so, I finally picked up his book, "The Great Omission." Still just skimming the surface on it, so if I do ever manage to get in a review-writing frame of mind, it might be a while. Nevertheless, I'm eagerly looking forward to finding myself trapped in the need to complete the trilogy of books this is part of. And yes, once again I'm reading a trilogy out of order. Why break tradition now?
