Let's see how many random thoughts I can cram into one blogpost:

A) I need to work a bit harder to see that my Saturdays aren't as cluttered as they were this week. Ran off to church (LATE) no time to shave. No obligatory afternoon nap or sleeping in till the crack of noon. And insult to injury ... I forgot to run the recorder for the webcast.

B) To the fine folks at Mary Kay cosmetics ... thank you for teaching me a valuable lesson on patience, grace, and forgiveness. More on this topic later.

C) I'm insanely behind schedule in penning a review of Josh Myers awesome guitar instrumental CD. Insult to injury again ... another great Lakewood artist has cut a CD. I'm going to have to make time for both.

D) Lakewood's own Dan Gomez ... check the tunes on Myspace and buy the download version of the CD if you feel so moved. Loads of great 80s AOR influences here that I'm thoroughly enjoying. Sadly, this was one CD I could not pilfer from Todd at Koinonia. My skills are apparently slipping. Fortunately, Dan's aren't. Dan's a member of the world-reknowned Celebrate Recovery band (among a few others, I believe) at Lakewood. Check him out Fridays.
