And I should point out that the CD of "The Gift" was spotted for a whopping $5 at the bookstore this weekend. Aimee's performance on there is just flat-out magical. Once the song is built up to a proper crescendo and Aimee brings it to a halt (3:59 on this video) is probably one of the best recorded moments on any Christmas CD ... if not any CD, period. Bold claim, I know. I'll stand by it. At $5, it's worth hearing for yourself.

This is from Saturday's performance. Sunday was a bit more dressed up, but equally great. I'm going with this one since there a particular camera shot that captures my view of this one.
