Just got back from the bookstore. Traded in my pre-purchase ticket thingy for a book. And already took grief from my boss about needing to get something the very first day it's out. Whatever. They were doing some video in the bookstore with the manager of the shop. No time to investigate what it was for, but stay tuned for the local news just in case.
The book started out at #9 on Amazon, dipped down to #10 for a bit. Now it's back up to #6. And Reporter Frank notes that there's an eBay auction of prime tix for MSG about to close in a few hours at $134. That's nuts.

Does anyone know if Walmart has the CD today, or (like the website says) will it not be available until tomorrow?
Ya know, Matt, I did a final look-over of my prepurchase ticket and saw that I needed to trade it in on tomorrow's date according to the ticket. I sorta put myself in denial that I was bound by that, though ... just stashed the ticket in a book and continued on my way. As long as the store was open, I figured, I could get irritable enough to pick up my book if need be. Not that I'd have preferred that method.
Doesn't address the Wal Mart situation, but maybe it's a sign that there'll be some goods on the floor today. One way to find out ... hit a Wal Mart. I might just have to do that.
