Just a little something I stumbled across via YouTube here. You just can't have enough churches playing loud guitar, I say:

Josh Myer is the guitarist in question. It's almost a shame that the clip was so short, but I'll take it. The church he's playing at is Word of Life Church up in St. Joseph, MO and the pastor there is a guy by the name of Brian Zahnd. I'm not sure what's cooler about Pastor Zahnd, that he loves the music of Bob Dylan or that he blogs. Maybe it's a mix of the two.

Anyways, Josh is apparently in the studio putting together a CD for release in the near future. I'm pretty sure I'll be looking out for it. And Josh doesn't appear to be the only musically-inclined sort to populate the pews of WOLC. Jimmie Bratcher also calls the church home. His material's a bit more old-school blues for my taste, but there's no denying the talent.
