Well, one optimistic sign that I'll thoroughly enjoy the Newsboys concert here in a few hours. The band was supposed to perform a solo song during the offering at all the weekend services. The scary, bad weather we had for a few hours here in Houston meant two things: a) I had to engage in a lot of deep prayer that I could get from my office to church securely without an umbrella, and b) the Newsboys plane was delayed. So the band missed out on Saturday. I slept in on Sunday. And my PC at work is doing the recording for me this weekend. So no idea if they did the performance Sunday morning ... or if the power got zapped at the office by some fluke chance.

Michael Mellett to the rescue. Our own band's version of "He Reigns" was just awe-inspiring. Expect some video of that on Monday.

For now, I've got to get going. Anyone out there know if the Newsboys actually did perform Sunday morning?
