I've been on a Kirk Franklin kick lately. I dunno why. But this is a great version of a song that I believe we've only seen too rarely at Lakewood.

Oh, you know what ... I think I do know why I appreciate Kirk Franklin despite his genre not being my cup of tea. It's likely because whenever I hear a great song done by Cindy, Aimee, Carrie, Jemine, Heath, or anyone else at Lakewood, I feel like their's is the best version of that song I've heard. Kirk Franklin is the only one who competes with that in my mind. His versions of the songs rock in their own right ... and they measure up to whatever the best choir and band do to the songs at Lakewood. I need to do myself a favor and pick up a CD or two of his.
