Two from the comments ...

Rose notes ...

So did you catch what happened at Sunday's 11 am service? Our pastor got hackled and there was a bit of commotion right after he said his joke and intro and before the sermon, it was quite interesting to see how prepared all the security really is and how they handled everything. Just thought you might have some comments on it.

I must have missed that by mere moments. By the time I landed in front of the PC to record anything, Joel was just beginning the 11am sermon. He obviously looked pretty composed by then. I've only seen one instance of the ushers having to forcibly remove someone and it happened a few rows behind Joel's seat during praise & worship. It was quick enough of a moment that if you blinked, you'd miss it. Those ushers aren't there for nothing, are they? Thanks for the heads up on this incident, Rose! It's a great reminder to keep our pastoral leadership and volunteers in our prayers.

Jennifer asks ...

I spotted the idea of a Aimee Beard CD, is that in the works? If so when would it become available. Aimee is my favorite soloist, I love Carrie too of course.

It's been a long while since I've bugged Aimee on this point and I'm sure she will always appreciate a few kind words from her worldwide fan club about doing something in the recording studio at some point. I'll see to it that she gets word of this suggestion ... again ;-)

Sadly, opening a church to everyone allows people to come in... and sadly some of them are very disrespectful. But I am sure the situation was handled properly. I always worry about that.

If I might make one correction: It's great that opening a church to everyone allows people to come in ;-)

But your point remains ... I'm surprised we haven't had more incidents. It could have been significantly worse. Fortunately, Pastor Daugherty seemed to handle that situation very nicely as well.

Ha, sorry about not being clear. Yes, it is great that Lakewood let's everyone in, even if there are a few incidents. :)
