I haven't looked through the book, but Arterburn's other work looks intriguing enough. And Cordell's teaching from the introduction of the book was fantastic last weekend.

Random question: Who is Lakewood's drummer? He seems kind of young, but he is great!
Good question. I'll have to inquire about that. I have to confess that it took me a while to get used to the different styles between the new guy and the previous drummer (Steve Allison).
Why did Steve leave?
I like the new guy a lot myself. He looks like a college student.
Yeah, a lot of the replacements are noticably younger. I'll have to ask about Steve's status, though. I don't recall seeing him for quite a while now.
