I knew that there was a big get-together over in Australia for the Hillsong group. What I didn't realize was that Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff would be bringing Hillsong to Houston back with her. Apparently, on July 30th, there's a double treat: Darlene Zschech will be sharing worship duties with Cindy. And that night, Hillsong United is in concert. That ought to go over real well with the younger set ... or those of us who prefer our music to be accompanied by loud guitars. It looks as if Darlene's appearance is for Sunday only, so this might be one of those weekends where I take in all the services. Darlene's is a more traditional P&W experience. I'd be remiss to not mention that one of the first songs I fell in love with from a Lakewood service was "Worthy is the Lamb" ... a song written by Darlene.

And on that note, July 19th is a night of praise & worship ... always one of my favorite types of Wednesdays.
