This weekend, I'll be going on a road trip to Lakewood Church in Houston -- the biggest house of worship in America and the largest congregation this side of Seoul, South Korea. Each week, 30,000 people attend this Texas megachurch to hear telegenic televangelist Joel Osteen. Sunday, hopefully, I'll find out why.

Actually, just once I'd like to read some reporting about the wider offering that Lakewood has for members (and visitors as well). Everything from the New Beginnings classes for new believers, to any of the Compass Classes, and either of the big Saturday gatherings by L7 (youth) or Koinonia (35+ singles).
