Some ideas for next month's book selection.

• The Great Omission: Reclaiming Jesus's Essential Teachings on Discipleship - Dallas Willard
• Secrets in the Dark: A Life in Sermons - Frederick Buechner
• The Joy of Encouragement: Unlock the Power of Building Others Up - David Jeremiah

Ironically, I may have to sift through a few of these if I ever find copies to peruse. I don't recall seeing much of Willard's books at Lakewood and the one Jeremiah book that seems to not be stocked is the one in question. Buechner's just another tangent I've been intrigued by lately. All in all, a generally weightier list to choose from. So be it. I've got a few weeks to make up my mind, though. Still gotta get through a couple of other books and I'm hoping the relatively free weekend ahead bodes well for making some headway on that.
