Locking Up At Lakewood

A few interesting items here in a story about the security system installed at Lakewood. I know that doesn't immediately grab the attention of many, but here's something to note towards the end of the article:

Compaq Center was designed to expand to 10 stories, but it’s currently only five stories high. Church officials are already planning to build out an empty floor so they can consolidate two existing church locations into this one. That will mean even more employees at the former Compaq Center, and will necessitate expansion of the Alliance security system, fire system, and the addition of more security cameras.

I'm not entirely sure how much activity was going on at the old location still, but the rather quick sale of the old place would seem to mean there's going to be more than a few new folks working out of the new location. There's still a great deal of room for construction to add to Lakewood - it's almost scary to contemplate what the church can and probably will be over the next 5-10 years.
